To All Language Arts/English Teachers Grades 7 to 12:

We invite you and your students to submit poetry to our 15th Annual Poets’ Night Out Contest and Poetry Reading.

The deadline for drop-off submission is September 24, 2011.

Please fill out the registration form (available below) for all classroom submissions. You may reproduce the form if you need to.

All classroom submissions should be submitted as a group. Please include a large self-addressed stamped envelope. (Individual SASE not needed).

Fee for Classroom submissions is $1.00 per Student.
Make checks payable to TADL/Friends.
Poem must not exceed 32 lines per page and must be typewritten.

***Handwritten poems cannot be considered***

This is a juried contest.
Acceptance letters will be returned by the end of October.

All winning poets will be invited to read their poem at the annual Poets’ Night Out to be held this year on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Traverse City Opera House, 106 Front Street, Traverse City.

Please consider involving your classes in Poets’ Night Out.
