Poets’ Night Out is a poetry contest and reading sponsored by the Traverse Area District Library, the Friends of the Traverse Area District Library, Horizon Books, and Clark, Walter, Sirrine Architects.

Poets’ Night Out aims to include poets and poetry from the counties of Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford.

Display the PNO Call for Poetry at your library

Download and print our Call for Poetry flyer, then display it in your library where area poets are likely to see it.

Promote PNO on your library’s web site

Feel free to promote Poets’ Night Out on your library’s web site by linking to www.poetsnightout.org

Provide your patrons with PNO submission forms and rules

Print copies of the PNO 2009 Rules and the PNO Individual Submission Form (PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat Viewer required). Make the printed copies available at your library!

Request a Chapbook of PNO 2009 poetry

E-mail info@poetsnightout.org to request a PNO 2009 chapbook containing poetry selected for Poets’ Night Out 2009. PNO chapbooks make an interesting addition to your library’s collection of local works. Cost: $5.00
